I had such success with the Rachel Ray Chocolate Red-Wine Cupcakes I thought I’d take another shot at Red Wine Chocolate cupcakes.
What I found was two more recipes. They both were Rachel’s recipe with a change in the wine.
If you remember, Rachel suggested Cannonau, which I’d never heard of and didn’t have. What I did have was Cupcake Vineyards ‘Red Velvet’. So that’s what I used.

Both also increased the amount of wine from 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup. I’ll have to try that.
